The Artist's Cat

Yeah! I have my photo operation back in action!
Thank you to Chandan in New Delhi for his Dell
assistance !
Here's my girl posing in front of my impressive
art book library. If you look closely (which you
can by clicking on the image) you'll see my name
on the spine of one of the books.
This painting is 11" x 14", an oil painting. It is framed
in a simple black frame and is $400 plus s&h.

Love this composition and how clever to work your name onto a book spine. The cat's curled paw gives her such a relaxed feel. Wonderful job on the shadows under the neck and chest. Great job. Love your blog!

What a lovely painting. That cat has sweet furry bulk that makes you want to drape her over your shoulder
and press your face into her neck. Witty idea to put your name on one of the books,Lynne. Thank you for dropping by my blog.

Thank you Gwen and Rose for your kind comments. Lucy is indeed a very soft-furred kitty. Even my vet commented on how soft she is!
I figure she'd have plenty of petting experience to compare Lucy to!
